You know it, mother’s day is right around the corner. This year, we will celebrate moms on Sunday May 12th.
At Atelier Monnier, we have a little Mother’s Day tradition: the Fraisier. It is one of our most requested cakes and IT IS BACK! It is a limited edition that will be offered in all four of our stores throughout the month of May.
Enough chit chat, let’s get to the interesting part: what is a Fraisier exactly? If you are not familiar with the subtle pastry, it is a French style strawberry cake composed of almond sponge cake topped with vanilla cream and fresh strawberries. It comes as a cake that will serve 6 to 9 people, but also in individual size!
Each Fraisier is made in an artisanal way, by our talented chefs so, each cake is unique, just like all our wonderful mothers. Make sure to order your cake early since quantities are limited!
