While we call it a chocolate croissant, it is either called a “Pain au chocolat” or a “Chocolatine” in France.

 

It basically depends on the region. They call it a “Chocolatine” in the South West, while the rest call it a “Pain au Chocolat”. If you go to France, be careful where you are and call it the right term or you might be exposed to very severe looks!
